Texada Island Heritage Society operates two museums, the Blubber Bay museum located in the Thacker House, a heritage home sponsored by Ash Grove Cement. The Van Anda museum located in the Van Anda Elementary School sponsored by School District 47. Museums are open July & August, Thursday - Sunday, 11am - 3pm.

Our staff are all trained Tourism/Visitor Information Counsellors who are happy to answer questions and offer local insider knowledge.
