Spring Retreat - Brioche Knitting with Roisin

A very special event is being organised especially for you... Not ‘just’ knitting skills and fun... there will be plenty of that too... but a lot of thought is going into providing you with a memorable event. Roisin has been thinking. For those of you who know her, this is no surprise!

Roisin’s thoughts... "My intentions are that you will go home from our Retreat with increased knowledge about the history of knitting, origins of different methods, stitches, wools and yarns. For those of us struggling with understanding how to practice more environmental sustainability in our lives, some insights into the woolly industry, retail issues, growing sheep for wool and more. Discussion on current trends, i.e. vegan yarns”.

Great Balls of Wool has been in business for over 9 years. Roisin and her highly skilled team have guided (cajoled, aided and abetted) may knitters from inspiration to completion of their projects. They deal with issues, daily, requiring expertise in many areas including pattern deficiencies, design elements, complicated stitches, left-handed knitters, and soooo much more!
